Watch 310 To Yuma Description

3:10 to Yuma is an interesting movie. We have a classic American western whose two lead actors are an Englishman (Christian Bale) and an Australian (Russell Crowe). Yet it is hard to think of two different people in these roles.

More of a character study than a typical western, 3:10 to Yuma tells the story of two men, one a maimed Civil War hero and the other a cold blooded killing bandit. We are introduced to both through each ones back story.

Then both lives intertwine when the bandit Ben Wade (Crowe) is captured in the same town where rancher Dan Evans (Bale) happens to be passing through. Bounty Hunter Byron McElroy (Peter Fonda) puts together a posse to help escort Wade to the 3:10 train that will take them to Yuma and prison. Evans joins the posse and thus begins the long trek to the railroad.

Along the way Evans and Wade start to develop a sort of mutual respect as the posse fights off Wade’s approaching men and the townspeople who shoot at them. In the thrilling final battle the audience will be wondering just who the good guys actually are.
