“G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” film directed by Stephen Sommers is nanotechnology based virtual action packed thriller and is adapted from the toy franchise G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.
The mission on whom Joes are working is to stop a nanotechnology-based weapon which is able to destroy a whole city on getting activated.
The film is full of virtual action acts and is very well animated. Possibly this movie is the best action-packed thriller of the year. There are two soldiers on a mission to protect and transport a nano technology based lethal weapon which is able to destroy a whole city. A weapons expert and the head of MARS company which caters arms to NATO has designed a nano technology based weapon that has the capacity to do mass destruction. During transporting the consignment they are ambushed by a group of people which are equipped with the latest technology. This group of people wants to steal the weapons. In the cross fire two soldiers were about to be shot by at the same time they are saved by an elite army squad called G.I. Joe.
The two soldiers joined forces with the Joes when they found that one of those who attacked them was one of the soldier’s ex-girlfriend who went missing four years ago. As the two soldiers were trained to become part of the elite squad of soldiers a conspiracy is unfolded. Audience will surely be surprised to see the end when the enemy is revealed. Finally when the two soldiers become one of the Joes the climax of the film becomes full of action-packed adventure where they try to get back the nanotechnology-based weapons that were stolen before their enemy destroys whole cities with it.

The latest installment of The Final Destination is here, with lots of screaming, flying body organs and a blood-splattered screen. The scariest part of the movie is that it threatens to be back with another installment. The new stunt for attracting viewers is that of the 3D version. Written by Eric Bress and directed by David R. Ellis, the fourth installment seems to be the same old story repeating itself over and over again, with the only innovation displayed is the manner of the death of the characters. So, like the earlier installments, an object falls, leading to another accident and finally we have a catastrophe causing the death of a character.
So the storyline follows the old trend: death versus man, and like the old plots, this time its Bobby Campo playing the man with premonitions of impending disaster. So, he saves himself and some of his friends along with two strangers from a horrific accident at a race track. If you have watched the earlier installments, then in that case, by this time you know that every character would finally meet his/her final destination. By the end of the movie you wish that the characters were dead in the race track accident itself.

Hollywood comes up with another mindless video game inspired movie with lots of killing, sex and F*@#%&g words. So, if you particularly love F***, M***** F***** S*** , then this movie would be a nice treat for you.
So, gamer has a creepy tech mogul Ken Castle (played by Michael C. Hall) planting Nanotech chips in human bodies, and using them as characters in a hugely multiplayer game called Society, wherein convicts can earn freedom by surviving thirty rounds of all-out slaughter. The concept has been used in a number of movies of late. Enter Kable (Gerard Butler), a tough soldier who is played by teenaged gamer (Logan Lerman). As the movie unfolds you get a dash of blood splattered screen, lots of semi naked women with revealing outfits and a blob of @&&**&*&^&*&^**, $%%^%&^,$%@$%$%)&&^*(^$…………

District 9 is probably not what you’re expecting. The trailers and teasers do not give you an exact idea of what the movie is all about; which is incidentally a good thing.District 9 revolves around Wikus Van De Merwe (played by Sharlto Copley), a supervisor for MNU (Mutli-National United) a mega-corporation. When the aliens first arrived twenty years ago, an attempt was made towards integrating them in the civilian population. However, soon disputes arise between them and the civilian population in regard to issues of theft, murder as well as mayhem on a massive scale. Eventually segregation is imposed and they are moved into a refugee camp called – District 9. MNU is tasked with the project and Van De Merwe is handed over the charge of managing this giant migration of aliens.
The Movie is produced by Peter Jackson and directed by Neill Blomkamp, who is able to neatly incorporate the true incidents of apartheid where in a similar camp called “District 6″ was used for segregating blacks.
The best thing about the movie is a documentary type treatment, which makes it rather believable. Not just that, it aptly explores human emotions over various situations. A must watch, indeed!

During World War 2 in Nazi occupied France, a posse of Jewish and American soldiers were tasked with scaring the crap out of the Germans by stalking, capturing and then brutally murdering members of the Third Reich. The method of death? …. scalping! This group, dubbed “The Bastards” eventually target a movie house in Paris only to discover that the owner is a teenage French Jewish girl. Quentin Tarantino is back in grand style with superb dialog and story.
