Watch Bride Wars Description
It is impossible not to like Bride Wars. Though it will certainly not win any awards, this movie is cute and funny with Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson both looking spectacular.
Basically, we have two childhood friends who both end up getting marriage proposals on the same day. Unknowingly, each goes to the best wedding planner in town Marion St. Claire (played by Candice Bergen). Unfortunately Marion’s assistant makes an error by booking both weddings for the same hall on the same day.
Now in most cases this could be handled by having one of the brides-to-be change her wedding date … but then we wouldn’t have a movie. So each friend stands their ground, refusing to budge on the date.
What follows is 90 minutes of back-stabbing and sabotaging as each tries to ruin the other’s weeding.
This is a very funny movie with the two lead actresses at the top of their game.
