Loosely based upon the 1950s comic strip (which still runs today), Marmaduke has to deal with culture shock when his family moves from the quiet suburbs of Kansas to the load and fast lifestyle in California.
Marmaduke (voiced by Owen Wilson) is no longer the king of the hill as he finds it difficult to make friends in his new environment. But he is determined to regain his lofty status as king dog no matter what it takes, and this leads to some very funny scenes as the current top dog does not want to give up his crown so easily.
This movie is family friendly with no objectionable material.
