Watch Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Description
The answer to the question that everyone is asking is yes, Harrison Ford still makes a great Indiana Jones even though he is in his sixties. To be sure he doesn’t move quite as fast or is as physical as in the previous three movies, but he is still the man.
In this edition Jones has been fired from his teaching job and has some time on his hands. What happens next gets him from the unemployment line to the adventurer line in about two minutes.
Jones also discovers that he had a son (Shia LaBeouf) from a relationship 25 years earlier (Karen Allen, who reprises her role). The father and son duo team up of this adventure, so sixty-something Ford doesn’t have to do all those stunts anymore … LaBeouf handles his share this time.
Overall this is a pretty good movie, but is does have a weird ending. The plot goes off into outer space when we learn that aliens (spacemen … not people from other countries) are e central part of the storyline. This caught me, and I’m sure others, by surprise. However when you think more about it you realize that this 4th Indiana Jones movie takes place in the 1950s. The 1950s was a time when people thought the earth was being visited by UFOs (think Roswell). So to tie this movie to the UFO hysteria makes sense.
