Watch The Other Guys Description
The Other Guys is one of the funniest movies of the year. And as good as Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are (and they are very good) this movie owes everything to the hilarious script. Just about every line has something that will at least make you smile, and there are plenty that will make you laugh out loud.
The movie begins by introducing us to two “supercops” played by Samuel L. Jackson Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson. These guys are so good that they are allowed to make up their own rules as they go along. The hands down best detectives that the force has to offer, they are idolized by kids and woman everywhere.
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are “the other guys”. These are two cops who are very ordinary and never get any of the spot light. But when an accident occurs and the two super cops go down (prepare to bust your gut laughing) Ferrell and Wahlberg decide to move into the void left by these two icons.
What the audience gets is almost two hours of nonstop laughing as these two cops try to behave as superheroes themselves while attempting to bust open a drug cartel.
Well done boys, this is a nice film diversion.
